  • June 2-3 2018: Cowboy Challenge (Open to the Public)

    Windy Ridge Riders Association is proud to sponsor the following event:

    Cowboy Challenge Obstacles and Individual Lessons

    Saturday June 2 and Sunday June 3, 2018 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
    There will also be a Mock challenge from 5:00 to 6:00 pm

    Location: Outdoor arena at Al and Cindy Bignell (directions given at time of registration)

    Pot Luck supper will follow Saturday's lessons at 6:30 pm

    Obstacles – the arena will be set up with obstacles where you can play or work. There will not
    be any instruction and you can come and go at your leisure through out the day. There will
    be a mock challenge for anyone wanting to participate from 5:00 to 6:00.
                           Cost: $25.00/day or $40.00 for 2 days.

    Lessons – (Max of 3 people per session) 
    Al Bignell will be doing 1 hour private lessons from 9:00 – 12:00 and 1:00 to 5:00
    each day. Lessons will be booked on a first come basis and are limited to 1 session over the 2
    day period. (please note that you will not be considered as being booked until payment is
    received).
                           Cost: $30.00/1 person
                                       $25.00 each/2-3 people


    Registration and payment is due by Sunday May 27, 2018

    All participants will be required to sign a waiver of claims and indemnity agreement
    Non-members will also be required to complete a limited 2 day club membership (cost is
    included in the fees)
    Please note that no meals, snacks or refreshments will be provided, we will be having a pot
    luck supper Saturday evening at 6:30. Bring a lawn chair and your favorite dish to enjoy an
    evening with other participants.
    Limited overnight camping on Saturday will be available, please indicate if you will be staying
    at time of registration.
